No. PLA is a plant-derived bioplastic commonly used for clear cold cups and straws. Sugarcane fiber, also called bagasse, is a molded plant-fiber material used for selected cups and cup lids. Their heat tolerance, appearance, and disposal requirements differ.
Can compostable cups be printed with a custom logo?
